I have been doing boot camp training with Selva of Get Fit Fast in Takapuna for nine years. My daughters Courtney (pictured) and Ashleigh join me at 6am two mornings a week.

I was thrilled to be presented with the Arthur Coombes Memorial Cup by Takapuna Rotary for Services to the Community in 2014.

I am proud to be a trustee of the St Patrick’s Day Golf Classic Charitable Trust. Each year the trust provides scholarships for two deserving local North Shore secondary students to attend the Outward Bound Mind Body and Soul Course. I am pictured with 2015 recipients Patrick Smith and Calla Ah Tong of Long Bay College.

I received a Queens Service Medal (QSM) in the New Years Honours for Service to the Community. This was presented to me by Governor General Dame Patsy Reedy in May 2018.
